Mango Lassi, eggs and kettles

Lassi is a very popular yogurt based drink from India primarily originated from Punjab. There are lots of variations possible with this drink. They come in both sweet and spicy versions. Adding fruits to the lassi is also one common variety. Here i am sharing with you one of the most tasty variety of lassi which is completely seasonal in its availability and once available this is the most sorted for lassi..

Ingredients

  • Mango: 1 medium size ( good variety with no fiber)
  • Sugar: As needed ( will vary depending on the sweetness of the mangoes)
  • Thick yogurt: 150-200 gms

Method

Add all these ingredients to a blender and blend until a smooth and thick drink is obtained. If you feel the drink to be very thick you can add some diluted curd for adjusting the consistency. Do not add water to adjust the consistency. Adding condensed milk instead of sugar will help you to thicken your lassi if preferred. Pour in traditional pots and serve chilled.
