Potato stir fry
Cooking need not be complicated to be tasty! Sometimes the most simple recipes can win your heart. Today I am going to share with you one such recipe that I happened to try out with potatoes.
Ingredients
- Potatoes : 2 nos ( cubed or cut length wise)
- Red chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
- Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
- Chaat masala : 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder : 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- Oil to shallow fry
Method
Marinate the potatoes with all the above ingredients except oil and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Heat a pan and pour oil to cover bottom of the pan and add the potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes with occasional stirring and without adding water. The potatoes should cook in the oil .
Serve with rice or rotis as a side dish.
