Rooh afza milkshake

Rooh afza / Rose syrup drink is a super refreshing drink for Iftar and for this summer. 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk 
  • 4 tablespoons Rooh afza syrup 
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar 
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Basil seeds (Sabja seeds or Falooda seeds)


Instructions

  1. Soak basil seeds in 3/4 cup of water for half an hour 
  2. Add rooh afza syrup to the chilled milk, add sugar. If sugar has big granules then grind into powder, so it dissolves quickly. 
  3. Mix well and keep it refrigerated till serving. 
  4. Add spoonful of sabja seeds before serving, if you like. 


Rooh Afza Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 5-7 tbsp Rooh Afza / Rose Syrup 
  • 4 tbsp Lemon Juice or as needed 
  • 1-2 tbsp Sugar optional 
  • Ice Cubes Lemon Slices for garnish

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl or jar, add 4 cups of cold or normal water. 
  2. Add lemon juice, sugar and rooh afza syrup. 
  3. Mix everything well. 
  4. Adjust the sugar as per your taste. 
  5. Pour into glasses and add ice cubes and lemon slices. 
  6. Serve chilled.
