Jelly candies
Jelly candies ( Jujubes ),bring in sweet memories of my childhood ..how I love these candies in their innumerous colours. I thought these confectionaries could never be made at home . That's when I came across this youtube recipe... and the result as lovely as my memories.
Ingredients
- Gelatin: 30 gms
- Ice cold water: 1/2 cup
- Sugar: 2 cups
- Water: 3/4 cups
- Any three or four food colours of your choice
- Any three or four essence to flavour the candy
- Sugar to coat the candies
Method
5. Slightly grease ice cube trays with oil or non stick sprays and pour each coloured liquid into the trays and allow to set overnight in fridge.
7. Enjoy the candies!
Note: you can also pour the liquids to dishes and the cut it to desired shapes once chilled and set
